Antalya is an important tourist center among Turkish cities, whether locally or internationally. It is one of the most important tourism destinations in Turkey and ranks fifth in terms of population density. Antalya city location:
It is one of the largest Turkish cities, located in the southwest of Turkey and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, bordered to the north by Izmir, and Mersin to the east, separated from Istanbul by a distance of 700 km. You can travel from Antalya to Istanbul by plane and the trip takes about an hour, and by car, It takes about nine hours, and by train, it is about five hours from Istanbul.

The old city also contains a group of historical markets that are not without tourists, as they offer many delicate handicrafts, perhaps the most famous of which are antique handmade carpets, as well as jewelry, copper and leather industries.
Antalya Waterfalls:
The city of Antalya contains many waterfalls, including the towering Lara Antalya Falls with a height of about 40 meters, and Manavgat Antalya Falls, and do not forget the Duden Antalya Falls, which consists of upper and lower waterfalls, on the Duden River, which these waterfalls took their name.
Finally, we must mention the largest water valley in Antalya, the Koprulu Valley, which occupies an area of three hundred and sixty-six square kilometers.

Antalya is characterized by the density of golden beaches that attract residents and tourists from various sides for tourism in the summer in particular, including:
- Lara Beach, which occupies a wide square along the Mediterranean Sea starting from the steep cliff, is the most famous beach in Antalya, and the most attractive for tourists. It contains many large and luxurious hotels and resorts, in addition to restaurants and cafes.
- If you are a fan of harmony with nature in and looking for calm and away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you should visit Adrasan Beach, in addition to Cirali Beach, which is located southwest of Antalya and has a secluded beach in it, and extends for a distance of three kilometers.
- Phaselis Beach, located in the Kemer region, is famous for its purity of water and clean sand
- Konyaalti Beach, famous for its international blue flag, which indicates how clean the beach is.
- Olympos Beach, where the water is so clear that you can see pebbles in the sea to a depth of about eight meters
- Damlatas Beach, as well as Olympos Beach. This beach is characterized by the purity of its waters, as you can clearly see marine life. This beach is located to the west of the ancient peninsula.
